Festive Magic, Creative Projects, and Holiday Wishes

December is here, and with it comes the joy and magic of the festive season! It’s hard to believe how quickly this year has flown by. November was a creative adventure for me as I dove into Pinterest’s #FestiveChallenge, creating a series of holiday illustrations that truly capture the warmth and excitement of this time of year. You can see the best ones here and all the other designs on my Pinterest page. Each one is a little piece of the festive spirit I’ve tried to bring to life.

If you’re a creative or small business owner looking to grow your reach and connect with like-minded people, I can’t recommend Pinterest’s creator programs enough. It’s an amazing platform that fosters creativity, provides great motivation, and offers exciting opportunities to showcase your work.

I didn’t have to do anything special to get in. Pinterest noticed that I consistently posted high-quality vertical content and invited me to join. Since then, it’s been an incredible journey. The monthly challenges they host are not only fun but also push you to think outside the box and stay inspired. Oh, and the monthly prizes? They’re just the icing on the (Christmas) cake!

Since joining, my monthly views have skyrocketed, and I’ve created several viral designs that I’m so proud of. It’s proof that when you stay consistent and put your creativity out there, amazing opportunities can come your way.

Amid the excitement of Pinterest’s creator programs, I’ve been diving into some incredible projects. Recently, I designed wall and floor art for a Parisian club, which turned out beautifully and is now featured on my portfolio page. I’m also working on a rebranding project for an Australian small business. It’s been an amazing journey bringing their vision to life.

Even with these exciting projects, I’m still available to create custom designs just for you. Whether you need festive illustrations to capture the holiday magic, unique branding to elevate your business, or a personal artwork that makes for a one-of-a-kind gift, I’d love to collaborate and make your ideas a reality.

This marks my second holiday season in Sicily, and let me tell you, it’s all about two things: food and family. And when I say food, I mean a lot of food. Picture this — rich panettone, buttery pandoro, savoury cotechino, and enough local dishes to keep you at the table for hours.

Speaking of hours, Sicilian family gatherings are marathons, not sprints. Everyone talks (or rather, shouts) over each other because, well, they’re Italians, and it wouldn’t feel right without the volume turned all the way up. Between the endless courses and the passionate debates about who makes the best lasagne, it’s a full-body experience. By the end, you’re not just full. You’re stuffed.

Last Christmas, I came out of the season one size bigger, and this year seems destined for the same outcome. I’m already eyeing a complete wardrobe change for January. Of course, I could just go to the gym, but let’s face it: gyms and I have never been best friends. They’re more like distant acquaintances I pretend to text back but never do.

As the year winds down, I’ve been working on something truly special. A gift for all of you who’ve supported me on this journey. While I can’t spill all the details yet, I can say it’s something that will inspire you, spark your creativity, and help set the tone for an amazing 2025.

So stay tuned! It’s coming soon, and I promise it’ll be worth the wait.

For now, I’m sending you all my warm holiday wishes. May your season be filled with love, laughter, and magical moments that make this time of year so special.

And remember, if you’re looking for custom illustrations or design work, whether it’s festive or for the new year ahead, I’m just an email away.

Warm wishes,
Gabor
